Media, Leadership & Community Recognition
Local knowledge isn’t something I learned from a map.
Long before real estate became my career, I was involved in the conversations shaping the communities I now help buyers, sellers, military families and investors navigate.
I spent eight years serving on the King George County Board of Supervisors, including serving as the first woman selected to chair the Board. My work expanded well beyond county lines through regional, statewide and national leadership involving economic development, rural broadband, military and veteran issues, workforce development, the Chesapeake Bay watershed and local government.
That experience still shapes the way I approach real estate today.
I pay attention to infrastructure. I watch development. I ask questions about how communities are changing, where investment is happening and what may matter to a property owner years from now—not simply on closing day.
Below are a few of the organizations and publications that have featured my work and leadership over the years.

Experience Beyond the Transaction
Real estate decisions don’t happen in a vacuum.
Roads get built. Businesses arrive. Employers expand. Infrastructure changes. Communities grow. Military families relocate. Rural areas develop differently from urban ones, and a waterfront community in Virginia’s Northern Neck comes with an entirely different set of considerations than a home minutes from I-95 in Fredericksburg.
I can’t predict the future—and no REALTOR® can.
What I can do is bring years of experience asking questions, studying communities, following regional issues and looking beyond the obvious.
Whether you’re buying your first home, selling a property you’ve owned for decades, relocating with the military, purchasing waterfront property in the Northern Neck or evaluating your next investment, my goal is the same:
Help you understand what you’re buying, what you’re selling and what questions are worth asking before you make the decision.
